Parking for Individuals with Disabilities
To park in a permit parking space a valid parking permit must be displayed. The University of Wyoming has adopted a color-coded parking permit/sign system. Faculty, staff and students can obtain permits and information at the Transit & Parking Services office or online. Employees and other qualified personnel may purchase permits by taking advantage of several options (payment in full, payroll deduction, pre-tax basis, post-tax basis). To utilize pre-tax payroll deduction, the permit application must be received by the Transit & Parking Services department before the pre-tax deadline.
Four options are available for Short Term and Day Use parking:
Metered Parking: Metered parking is available at various locations on campus to provide short-term parking. Meters are available at the following locations: Hoyt Hall, Knight Hall, Coe Library, Wyoming Union, Fine Arts, Corbett Gym, Arena-Auditorium, Beta House, 12th & Lewis, and Animal Science. The fee for metered parking is 50 cents per half hour. Most meters are limited to 2 hour parking (check the individual meter to be sure).
Day Lot: The Day Lot is located at 15th and Willett Dr., south of Wyoming Hall. The fee for the Day Lot fee is 50 cents per half hour.
Shuttle Service - The Express Shuttle Lot, is located at 30th Street and Willett Drive. There is always plenty of parking available (no hunting necessary) and a shuttle departs approximately every 7 to 9 minutes. Try the South Express Shuttle located at 15th and Spring Creek. This shuttle provides continuous service to the Wyoming Union from the shuttle lot every 7 to 9 minutes.
Day Permits - Day permits are available from the Transit & Parking Services department at 462 N 10th and the Wyoming Union Information Desk. The fee for a Day Permit is $5 per day and allows the permit holder to park in an "A", "C" or "R" space. Day permits may be purchased for multiple days. These permits can be purchased by anyone, including UW departments with an IDR.
Vendors Permits - Off-campus vendors, delivery personnel and other off-campus commercial enterprises are eligible to purchase a "V" permit. The fee is $273 annually or $22.75 per calendar month.

Contractors Permits - An off-campus contractor is eligible for a "Contractor Permit". Multiple permits may be issued if eligibility is met. The fee is $273 annually or $22.75 per calendar month.
Vehicles displaying "Contractor" permits may park only in assigned "A", "C", and "R" spaces. Contractor permits are issued by the Transit & Parking Services department after the status of the application has been verified with Facilities Engineering and/or Facilities Planning.
A long-term parking area for motorized vehicles is located at 30th and Willett. Parking is FREE, but a "P" permit is required for long-term use of the lot. For easy access to campus, the Classroom Express shuttle stops in these lots. Bus access may also be obtained at the Union Express Lot.
