UW Theatre and Dance Stages Contemporary Comedy

Nov. 12, 1999 -- The University of Wyoming production of Mere Mortals and Others, six one act comedies by David Ives, opens Tuesday, Nov. 16, and plays through Sunday, Nov. 21, at the UW Fine Arts Center main stage.

All performances start at 8 p.m. except for a 2 p.m. matinee Sunday, Nov. 21. Tickets, available in the Fine Arts Center lobby and the Wyoming Union ticket office, are $9 for adults, $7 for senior citizens and $4 for UW students. Call (307) 766-6666 for ticket availability.

Directed by Leigh Selting, with set design by Ron Steger, lighting design by Larry Hazlett and costume design by Lee Hodgson, Mere Mortals and Others is a critically-acclaimed group of comedies that combines satire, wit, hilarity and intellect into an exciting evening of theatre.
