Accessible Entrance (ramps, power activated doors, etc.)

• East entrance via power activated door

• Southeast entrance via automatic door

• Southwest entrance via power activated door, sloped sidewalk, and ramp

• Northwest entrance via power activated door, sloped sidewalk, and ramp

Accessible Parking (accessible spaces, paths, etc.)

• There are 3 accessible spaces in the parking lot west of the Aven Nelson building with an accessible path to the southwest entrance Classroom Building entrance.

• The City occasionally provides accessible spaces on the street.  As of 9/2012, there are 2 accessible curb-side spaces west of the Classroom Building with accessible paths to the northwest and southwest building entrances.

Elevators or Lifts (Lift Keys are located at the lifts)

• Basement (100 numbered rooms)

  • Lift located between Classrooms 129 and 133 and provides access to the instructor level of these classrooms

  • Elevator located near women's restroom and provides access to all levels of the building except outer corridor on 3^rd level

• Ground Floor (200 numbered rooms)

  • Lift from east entrance provides access to 200-numbered rooms and elevators

  • Elevator entrance located near front desk and study area (elevator door also opens facing west near Classroom 214)

• Second Floor (300-numbered rooms)

  • Lift located near Classroom 314 and provides access to outer corridor of the 300-numbered rooms

  • Elevator located in the center of the floor

    • Elevator button 2 provides access to Classrooms 302, 306 and Chemistry Lab 304

    • Elevator button 2R provides access to the lift, Classrooms 310, 314, and Physics prep lab 316

Accessible Restrooms

• Men's and Women's located on the north side of the basement and main floor

• Women's located on the south side of the basement floor

Special Features

• Power Activated Doors to classrooms 103, 105, 113, 115, 118, 142, 141, 147, 207, 209, 214, 221, 222, 225

Access to Planetarium

• From the basement elevator, find the north hallway and proceed past the northeast stairwell towards Classroom 103

• The Planetarium is located through the metal doors just past Classroom 103

Access to Library Annex

• From the basement elevator, find the north hallway and proceed past the northeast stairwell towards Classroom 103

• Through the metal doors just past Classroom 103, there is an elevator near the Planetarium that provides access to the Library Annex
