Meg Flanigan Skinner was named the 2009 recipient of the James C. Hurst Each Student--A Person Award, recognizing a UW faculty or staff member who goes above and beyond the call of duty to personalize the student experience and who creates a warm and caring environment for students.
The award, established by UW's parent program, Cowboy Parents, honors James C. Hurst, UW's vice president for student affairs from 1981-2000. Hurst is remembered for his warm and caring demeanor, his wisdom, and his dedication to student success. Read more.
