The intersection at 22nd Street and Grand Avenue will be closed intermittently for five-minute durations midmorning Sunday, June 28, and Tuesday, June 30, for delivery of the super columns for the War Memorial Stadium improvement and enhancement project.
Jennifer Coast, capital projects manager with the University of Wyoming Facilities Planning Office, says flaggers will be present. The columns will be erected throughout the week of June 28.
The stadium project is scheduled for completion in fall 2010. It includes restroom and concession improvements and construction of suites and a club lounge on the east side.
