Request Credit for UW ECHO Participation

We are pleased to offer several professional development credit options for your participation in the UW ECHO networks. The following credit options are available for participants in all networks, except the UW ECHO in Waiver Services. For more information on how to earn credit for participating in the UW ECHO in Waiver Services network, please visit this page.

UW Graduate Enrichment Credit

DEADLINE TO RETURN MAILED, PHYSICAL REGISTRATION FORMS TO UW ECHO OFFICE MARCH 31ST.  

Please submit your information below to be mailed the mandatory registration form.

UW graduate enrichment credit is awarded once an academic year in May. You may earn up to 3 credit hours each semester. Each credit hour requires a $50 registration fee which can be paid with a credit card or check to the UW Outreach School.
To receive credit, you will need to complete the following:

Enroll

  1. Submit your information below and be sure to enter your mailing address. An enrollment form will be mailed to you.

  2. Return the completed form along with the registration fee. Each credit hour requires a $50 registration fee (max. 3 credit hours/semester).

Attend and Participate

  1. Complete the pre-test for each ECHO Network you plan to attend. Pre-tests are done either at the start of the school year or as a retrospective survey at the end of the school year.

  2. For each credit you are seeking, attend at least 12 live UW ECHO Network sessions and complete the session evaluation for each session attended.  You may mix n' match sessions from different networks (e.g. 6 sessions from Behavior Supports and 6 from School Leadership).

  3. Complete one of the following required activities for each credit you are seeking:

    • Present a case during a UW ECHO session, or

    • Conduct a didactic presentation during a UW ECHO session, or

    • Write a two-page reflection paper describing your participation in UW ECHO. We would like participants to reflect on how, because of ECHO, they could implement suggested best practices in order to support teachers, students, parents, and administrators within their district and throughout the state.

         4. Complete the post-test for each ECHO Network attended (spring semester only).

PTSB Credit

PTSB credit is awarded once an academic year in May. For every 12 live UW ECHO Network sessions you attend, 1 PTSB credit is awarded.  You may mix n' match sessions from different networks (e.g. 6 sessions from Behavior Supports and 6 from School Leadership).

To receive credit, you will need to complete the following:

  1. Submit your information below and be sure to enter your PTSB number.

  2. Complete the pre-test for each ECHO Network you plan to attend. Pre-tests are done either at the start of the school year or as a retrospective survey at the end of the school year.

  3. Attend a live UW ECHO Network session AND complete the session evaluation.

  4. Complete the post-test for each ECHO Network attended. Post-tests are completed at the conclusion of the school year.

STARS Credit

STARS credit is awarded for participation in the UW ECHO in Early Childhood, Autism, and Behavior Supports sessions once an academic year in May. You will be awarded STARS credits for each session you attend.

To receive credit, you will need to complete the following:

  1. Submit your information below and be sure to enter your STARS ID.

  2. Complete the pre-test for UW ECHO in Early Childhood, Autism, and/or Behavior Supports. Pre-tests are done either at the start of the school year or as a retrospective survey at the end of the school year.

  3. Attend live UW ECHO in Early Childhood, Autism, and/or Behavior Supports sessions AND complete the session evaluations.

  4. Complete the post-test for the UW ECHO in Early Childhood, Autism, and/or Behavior Supports. Post-tests are completed at the conclusion of the school year.

Certificate of Attendance

Certificates will be sent to participants in May at the conclusion of all UW ECHO Network sessions. You will earn 1.5 contact hours for each session you attend.

If you are participating in the UW ECHO in Waiver Services sessions, certificates will be awarded at the end of each module. For more information on credit for Waiver Services, please go to this page.

To receive credit for attending a session, you will need to complete the following:

  1. Submit your information below.

  2. Complete the pre-test for each ECHO Network you plan to attend.  Pre-tests are done either at the start of the school year or as a retrospective survey at the end of the school year.

  3. Attend a live UW ECHO Network session AND complete the session evaluation.

  4. Complete the post-test for each ECHO Network attended. Post-tests are completed in May.
