Sabbatical application cases for AY26-27 must be forwarded to Academic Affairs in WyoFolio no later than September 28, 2025.
The Faculty Recognition Committee will meet in mid-October and final decision letters will be sent December 4, 2025.
Hiring Outside of Reporting Date
When tenure and FTRC track personnel are hired with a start date that is outside of the standard new faculty report date, this may affect their RTP clock. Any tenure and FTRC track faculty hired after that date will start their clock in the next academic year.
Job Descriptions
Workload data and job description forms will be recorded in WyoVita, preferably by May 1, 2026, but no later than May 15, 2026.

an individual may be reappointed. Adjunct appointments may be made when deemed

the services of persons who have attained recognition in their professional fields

programs.
Nominations for adjunct status shall be initiated by the department head and/or dean.

Emeritus status may be awarded to Academic Personnel who retire after long and distinguished service to the University. Nominations for emeriti status shall be initiated by the department head and/or dean. The recommendation should include:
- An updated Curriculum Vitae.

The nomination letter should refer to specific evidence of the nominee’s qualifications, as well as an explicit statement that the faculty member has retired or is retiring in good standing.
- The results of a vote on the awarding of emeriti status taken from all department faculty.

The nomination for Academic personnel may also include other materials, such as letters of commendations or other special recognition.
- Upon receipt of materials from the department, the Dean will provide a recommendation concerning the faculty member’s eligibility to the Provost.
