Before You Begin:

- If you are refilling a position without changes, ensure you have the position number for quick completion of the requisition. If you want to create a new position or make modifications to an existing position, please submit a Request for a new position, or a Request for a position change.
Reminder: All searches are strictly recruited for via HCM Recruiting
All positions must go through the electronic requisition approval process within HCM. This applies to all Staff, Academic, Administrative and non-benefited positions, and is not dependent on whether it is going to be posted with a search conducted, or if it is an exception to posting (Benefited) or a direct hire (non-benefited).

Onboarding Your New Employee:
After all your hard work with the hiring process, don't forget the most important piece: welcoming your new employee! A good onboarding experience not only helps the employee feel comfortable and welcomed, but helps with retention and builds a cohesive team environment. All individuals hired in our HCM recruiting system will go through an automatic onboarding process developed by HCM with tasks for the new employee and for their respective supervisor.
