About the UWAA
The UWAA is a non-profit organization largely funded by alumni memberships that strives to give back to our university and our alumni.
The UWAA aims to lead and inspire alumni to stay connected to UW for life. We foster a culture of pride and loyalty among alumni and friends through involvement, sharing of the university’s direction and aspirations, and engaging alumni and friends. We bring alumni and current University of Wyoming students together through activities and events created by our team.
Your UW Alumni Association
Through our membership program, the UW Alumni Association fosters alumni network connections and relationships that support the future of the University of Wyoming. The UWAA uses its membership program to effectively engage current and prospective students, while creating lifelong bonds among UW graduates, both recent and former.

History of the Association
Launched on March 26, 1895 with eight alumni, the UWAA is proud of its long history of keeping alumni connected to the university and offering a wide array of opportunities for service. With a membership of 17,000 people, the Alumni Association serves as an important connection to the university for the 130,000 alumni around the world.
The UWAA has since resided in the University of Wyoming Alumni House, and now the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center, but the mission and focus of the Alumni Association has remained the same. We have grown substantially since our launching in 1895, but we can assure that we still value each alum just the same.
