Noah Miles

Noah Miles earned his M.A. from the University of Iowa’s Comparative Literature department for a translation of poems by the Japanese poet Gozo Yoshimasu. His B.A. in Japanese language and literature and the dozens of trips to Japan have informed and transformed him. Every year Noah takes students to Japan, leading two summer programs, and as the sole representative of Japanese Studies on campus, he also teaches language, Japanese literature, Manga, and Anime courses.
