Downtown Clinic

The Downtown Clinic is a primary care clinic that provides wholistic care, without charge, to people
experiencing poverty. The Clinic is founded on kindness and relationships, and embraces
change, innovation and creativity. The Clinic currently operates an onsite medication
dispensary, point of care laboratory, mobile clinic and garden.
Honors College Marketing

The Honors College’s mission is to provide motivated students from diverse backgrounds with an interdisciplinary academic experience that positions them for success. Our marketing team helps tell that story by showcasing the people, experiences, and opportunities that define Honors. Through creative and engaging communication, we aim to expand our reach, strengthen our community, and open the doors of Honors to more students.
Laramie Animal Welfare Society (LAWS)

LAWS' mission is to enhance the welfare of animals in Laramie and surrounding communities through rescue and rehoming, trap–neuter–return (TNR) programs, and community-supported efforts that promote humane treatment and responsible pet ownership.
Louisa Swain Foundation

Did you know what Wyoming was the first government to grant women the right to vote
and hold public office? On December 10, 1869, the territory of Wyoming passed the
Women’s Suffrage Act—more than 50 years before the 19th Amendment was ratified. At
the Wyoming Women’s History House in downtown Laramie, we tell the story of how that Act came to be and how Wyoming
became the home to many national and worldwide “firsts” because of it. Our mission
is to teach about the past and to inspire the future.
Summer High School Institute

UW Libraries

Wyoming Public Media

Wyoming Public Media broadcasts to over 90% of Wyoming—including Laramie, Casper, Cheyenne, Rock Springs, Green River, Evanston, Jackson, Lander, Riverton, Cody, Powell, Dubois, Gillette, Sheridan, Alta, Alpine, Newcastle, and Torrington, plus numerous communities throughout the state. WPR is the state's only member of National Public Radio and an affiliate of Public Radio International and American Public Media.
Wyoming State Science Fair
Deadline: September 25, 2026
Wyoming State Science fair is a STEM research competition for 6th-12th grade students. As such, it is a vital outreach program of the University of Wyoming. We work hard to engage ~1000+ students statewide in doing original STEM research and presenting it at competitions.
Honors Internship Learning Outcomes
- Practice a range of skills appropriate to the internship setting, including professional communication and collaboration.
- Describe one organization’s unique structure and impact and what can be learned from it.
- Refine and clarify professional, academic, and personal goals and aspirations through critical analysis of the internship experience.
- Prepare for future integrative work such as the capstone project through new interdisciplinary perspectives and greater cultural and professional awareness.
