Abby Petri

 

Hello, my name is Abby! I am currently a second-year student who is originally from Cheyenne, Wyoming. With my degrees, I hope to become an occupational therapist in the future as I aspire to help those in need. Outside of school, I really love reading, playing fun video games, and exploring National Parks. I also really enjoy making music, so I am an active member of the University of Wyoming choirs!

 

My favorite thing about the Honors College is the community. I absolutely love talking to others about abstract ideas that make me think in creative ways, and honors always draws me into that kind of environment and community. Not only that, but honors exposes me to different perspectives from all kinds of majors and minors, which is extremely valuable when it comes to the college experience. This has expanded my horizons in many ways, and I will always be thankful for the Honors College because of that.
