I grew up in Cheyenne Wyoming and consider myself a Wyomingite through and through but was born in Yong Zhou, China. This background plays a large role in many of my interests which include traveling and learning about other cultures and languages. When not studying for my classes, you will find me cooking new meals with friends, going for a run, or studying for the LSAT. I plan to attend law school and become a family lawyer specializing in providing legal representation for youth in the foster care system and adoption cases.

One of my favorite things about the Honors College is the interdisciplinary curriculum. The courses help me think critically about real-world issues and analyze them from a variety of perspectives. My peers and professors challenge me to not only acknowledge the vast grey area that exists within problems but embrace it as a means of never oversimplifying a topic and viewing all stakeholders. I have grown so much from the instruction I have received from the Honors College.
