The All Star Team Powering Our Classrooms
The Classroom Technology Support (CTS) team earned recognition for their hard work and commitment over the past year by winning the Staff Senate “All Star Team Staff Award". The award was presented to the team members during the Staff Recognition Day on Monday, April 7th.
Award Nomination Highlights
The team was recognized for their impressive accomplishments between May 2024 and January 2025, during which they:
- Installed, programmed, and commissioned over 40 new or updated AV technology systems across classrooms, conference rooms, and meeting spaces
- Met all deadlines consistently
- Delivered spaces and systems on time
- Took on additional tasks left by outside contractors to ensure rooms were ready for Fall and Spring semesters
During Winter Break specifically, what began as "a few small projects" evolved into a marathon of work that the team successfully completed through extraordinary effort. Their work encompassed brand new rooms, updates to campus favorites, and long-overdue improvements to various spaces.
