Discovery Librarian

Biography:
Amanda is the Discovery Librarian at the University of Wyoming Libraries. In this role, she manages, configures, and coordinates the Libraries' discovery platforms, including data and web service integrations with vendors and other UW Libraries’ systems and services. She also provides support for the lifecycle of electronic resource management.
Her current research interests include user experience (UX) enhancement through discovery services. Other research interests focus on the relationship between systems of knowledge organization and identity within nineteenth century visual culture.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys trying new recipes, walking her dogs, and painting.
She also considers herself a dissectologist.
