Graduate students at the University of Wyoming have 24-hour access to online resources both on and off-campus. These resources include a comprehensive list of Research Databases and curated Research Guides for your research needs.

Materials + Services at the Libraries
UW Libraries offer Library borrowing privileges are automatically extended to currently enrolled University of Wyoming students with a valid WyoOne card. Policies regarding borrowing materials are available here.
If you require materials outside of the Libraries, multiple services are available at no cost:
- Interlibrary Loan (ILL) allows UW students, faculty, and staff to request books, journal articles, media, and other materials regardless of where it is available.
- Prospector is a service that allows University students, faculty, and staff to request books, media, journals/articles, and other items from over 200 academic, public, and special libraries in Colorado.
Students and instructors may use the Libraries Course Reserves service to make readings and resources easily accessible to their students. This may include library owned physical resources, instructor owned texts, Internet links, videos, open access resources, etc.
Study and reading spaces are available in Coe Library and other locations on campus:
- Reservable rooms in Coe Library and across campus
- The Emmett D. Chisum Special Collections Reading Room
- The Alma Doke McMurry Reading Room
Students have access to over 100 lab computers and docking stations throughout Coe Library, as well as access to computer labs and printing services across campus. Information on other services provided by UW Libraries, such as copying and scanning, laptops and iPads, computer labs, and more, is available here.

Digital Collections
UW Libraries is home to several digital repositories, including various digital collections, research data, and scholarly outputs.
- Wyoming Data Repository (WDR): A research data management system for the University of Wyoming and all Wyoming Community Colleges
- WyoScholar Digital Repository: An open-access repository of student publications, open educational resources, open-access faculty publications, and other forms of gray literature.
- Wyoming Newspaper Collection: Historic Wyoming Newspapers from every county in Wyoming from 1849 to the present.

Emmett D. Chisum Special Collections
Emmett D. Chisum Special Collections primarily holds printed publications related to the American West from the late 19th century to the present.
- The Grace Raymond Hebard Collection: The most comprehensive collection of published materials about Wyoming history, culture and natural history.
- The Canoso Miniature Book Collection: This collection includes books smaller than 3 inches by 3 inches as well as a selection of artists' books.
- The Historic Clothing Collection: Consisting of both books and clothing magazines, the historic clothing collection also includes books on costumes and the history of undergarments.

Media Collections
UW Libraries offers access to both physical and streaming media.
- Videos: DVD/Blu-Ray collection of over 23,000 titles suitable for kindergarten through adult audiences. The collection features educational titles, as well as award-winning theatrical films and television series.
- CD-ROMs: Discs containing electronic files, primarily published by the Federal Government.
- Streaming Media: Video and audio available through UW Libraries databases.
