Academic Success Librarian

Prior to joining University of Wyoming, Virginia worked at Queen’s University in Canada in the university innovation centre. Prior to that, she worked as an Information Services Librarian for the Belleville Public Library and in project management for the Centre for Equitable Library Access, a national organization in Canada that creates and distributes library materials for individuals with print disabilities.
Virginia’s research interests center around experiences of library employees with disabilities, and simplified search techniques for STEM students. She currently serves on several Association of College and Research Libraries Committees, as well as the Journal of Rare Books and Manuscripts editorial board. She is a lifelong equestrian, avid gym rat, and lover of cats.
