The Keyboard Area of the Department of Music at the University of Wyoming offers the following:
Led by internationally recognized faculty, the goal of the degree program is to help students become professionally competitive musicians through the incorporation of performance, pedagogy, and literature in a performance-intensive environment.
Studying keyboard at UW ensures well-rounded training in academics and professional skills which equip students to seek careers as solo performers, collaborative pianists, and teachers. It also prepares students for DMA applications.
Keyboard Area faculty have performed in countries across the globe and are members of the Music Teachers National Association and the Historical Keyboard Society of North America. Their mission is to provide the highest level of instruction in an inspirational and rewarding academic environment.

UW Presents, as well as the Eminent Artist-in-Residence endowed professorship, bring world-renowned guest artists and ensembles to campus for concerts and clinics.
