Psychology as a major
To earn a Bachelor's degree in Psychology you will need to complete the University
Studies Program, the Arts & Sciences Core requirements, and the major requirements.
The major requires at least 33 credit hours in psychology with a minimum of 18 credit
hours taken at the junior/senior level (3000 or 4000 level). A grade of "C" or better
is required in all major courses.
Note: Psychology courses taken 15 or more years ago will not be used to satisfy degree
requirements.

Psychology as a minor
For a minor in Psychology you are required to complete 18 credit hours in psychology:
General Psychology (PSYC 1000, or equivalent); 9 hours at the 3000/4000 level; electives
to reach the 18 required hours. Students seeking a minor in A&S must have 12 hours
exclusive to the minor and not used in the major. A grade of "C" or better is required
in all minor courses.
