Laser Safety

Class 3B and 4 lasers can cause injuries to the eyes and skin, as well as fires, electrical and other hazards. To mitigate these hazards, the University of Wyoming Laser Safety Plan follows regulations from OSHA, FDA, and ANSI Standard Z136.1-2007.

The Radiation Safety/Laser Safety Officer is Jim Herrold.
