The University of Wyoming is proud to offer a variety of opportunities for eligible incoming Wyoming resident first-year students. All opportunities are based on the student's academic achievements at the time of admission to UW.

Test-optional: New first-year students will be reviewed using the test-optional dollar amount for the Cowboy Commitment; students who submit ACT/SAT test scores will be evaluated to determine if both unweighted GPA and test scores make them eligible for a possible higher tier.
Based on Wyoming Hathaway Legislation, eligible Wyoming students must submit ACT/SAT test scores for consideration for the Hathaway Scholarship.
Please note: All University of Wyoming financial awards are only available to eligible admits. The awards are subject to available funding and the approval of the UW Board of Trustees; they reserve the right to change said rates at any time.
