Readiness Rally @ Union Fest -- May 3
Are you ready for summer? Regardless of your answer, you’ll want to attend the Readiness
Rally @ Union Fest on May 3 from 11 am – 5 pm. This event brings together campus partners
like academic advising, financial aid and financial services, campus housing and dining,
and more, all in one spot, all there to assist students before summer begins.
No appointments needed, PERC numbers will be provided. Simply visit the check in table to confirm that you’re all set OR find a solution
to what’s holding you back. Common scenarios might include:
- You missed your spring advising appointment and haven’t registered for classes yet.
- The FAFSA has you stressed about your financial aid.
- There’s a hold on your account and you don’t know how to resolve it.
- Trying to decide if and what summer classes are a good fit for your major.
- You simply want to enjoy a stress free summer, knowing everything’s set for fall.
As an added bonus, Readiness Rally attendees will be entered into a drawing for $10,000
in scholarships being offered through the President’s Office. Ten lucky (and summer
prepared) students will be awarded $1,000 scholarships applied towards fall tuition.
So even if you already feel prepared for next semester, you should enter to be eligible,
and grab some other groovy gear!
Date: May 3
Time: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Location: Wyoming Union/Prexy's Pasture
Who will be there? And, how can we help you?
Once you arrive at the Readiness Rally, please visit the check-in table where a staff
member will help you identify any missed steps for fall semester – course registration,
holds or confirmation of major. If necessary, you can complete most missed steps right
away. Once you’ve finished any items on your list, you’re prepared! You’ll be eligible
to enter the scholarship drawing, grab some groovy gear we’re giving away, and start
your summer knowing you’ve got it all planned out. Or, as we like to say ~ Peace
Out Prepared!
