Jason Banks teaches Lighting, Sound and Digital Media Production and Design. His professional work spans decades and includes Opera, Dance, Musical Theatre, Concert, and Play Design as well as Production Management and Lighting Direction work for corporate events. Jason has served as a local lighting director for headliners such as BoysIIMen, Smashmouth, and Candlebox. Recent professional work includes design for Transcendance Theatre Company's 2023 production of The Full Monty in the orchards of Sonoma. He also formerly served as the department's Artistic Director for Snowy Range Summer Theatre and regularly attends LDI and USITT National Conferences, to stay trained and connected.
