Kate Backman grew up in Cheyenne, Wyoming, earning a B.F.A. in Theatre Design from Utah Valley University. Professional experience includes working as a Hair, Wig & Makeup Designer for Sundance Theatre, the Noorda Center for the Performing Arts, and Utah Valley Opera. Now back in their home state, Kate serves as Costume Shop Coordinator and Hair, Wig & Makeup Designer for the University of Wyoming, where they are proud to contribute to the artistic growth of the next generation of artists and storytellers.
