Erin Reed Carter (she/her) is Assistant Professor of Theatre and Dance specializing in costume design and technology. She received her MFA in Costume Design from the University of Tennessee, and her BFA in Costume Design and Costume Technology from the Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University. Her theatrical and themed entertainment work has been seen in venues across the country, including the Clarence Brown Theatre (Knoxville, TN), Texas Shakespeare Festival (Kilgore, TX), Santa Cruz Shakespeare (Santa Cruz, CA), Cincinnati Shakespeare Company (Cincinnati, OH), and Silver Dollar City (Branson, MO). Erin’s pedagogical practice focuses on the integration of costume design and technology to promote well-rounded, multifaceted designers and technicians.
