Admission Requirements

Students planning to transfer to the University of Wyoming have several requirements that must be met in order to be considered for enrollment. This is in order to assure that students are properly prepared and ready to embrace success at UW.

Transferring from out-of-state to the University of Wyoming is a simple process. There are a few differences in the application process from in-state students, but nothing that is too complicated or time consuming. Fill Out an Application.

You can apply online or use the Common App, if you would prefer. UW’s application is straightforward and can be completed in just a few minutes.

Apply for any applicable scholarships, including those designated for transfer students. You may also want to fill out a new FAFSA if your financial situation has changed.
