Austin was born and raised in Rock Springs, Wyoming. In 2016, Austin graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He has always been interested in the progression of medicine through science and technology as well as public health. It was for this reason that, after graduating, he spent time working as a research technician at the University of Utah School of Medicine in the department of Biochemistry as well as heading a non-profit organization whose aim is to improve access to health care in Southwest Wyoming. In his free time, he enjoys spending time in the mountains with friends and family.
