Every year, WYNDD works with a variety of partners and clients around the state, with guidance from our Advisory Committee. Learn more about our partners, project collaborators, and advisory committee below.
In 2017, WYNDD began hosting an annual Partners Meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to bring together resource managers, regulators, biologists, land owners, and conservationists to learn about the data and information WYNDD provides, and to provide a forum for networking and sharing of priorities and concerns related to Wyoming’s native species and habitats. Additionally, each meeting features specific topics to be addressed via breakout groups or panel discussions. In previous meetings, over 50 people from state and federal agencies, non-profits, industry, and private consulting participated in-person or via webinar, in addition to WYNDD staff. Materials and presentations from each of the meetings can be downloaded via the links below:
Our project collaborators include over 150 private consulting companies, state and federal agencies, non-profit organizations, private landowners, independent and academic researchers, and various agencies including:
In 1999 WYNDD established a 14-member Advisory Committee consisting of representatives of the mineral and utility industries, agriculture, state and county governments, federal land management agencies, private environmental consultants, The Nature Conservancy, and the Wyoming Game and Fish Department. Committee members provide advice and guidance to WYNDD, and serve as ambassadors between WYNDD and the members' industries and clients. WYNDD meets formally with the Committee annually, and is in monthly contact with individual members.
