Add Guest Instructors/TAs/GAs


Add your Guest Instructors, TAs, GAs, Supplemental Instructors, Librarians, Observers, and others to your WyoCourses courses through WyoRecords!

 

  • Go to http://wyoweb.uwyo.edu and click on Faculty & Staff under WyoRecords.

  • Next, click on Faculty and Advisors.

  • Click on the box labeled WyoCourses Supplemental Access, and you will be taken to a screen where you can select the term and then your course.

  • You can add person into your course in several roles, provided they are eligible to be added with these roles, which are listed on the Supplemental Roles page.

  • Under “Add a Person”, enter the W#, or First Name and Last Name. The list of people will show up below as you type in information.   Click on the row to add them to the Supplemental Access section.

  • Click on the person to select them, and then choose their role under “Update Role” and click “Submit.”  If successful, the role you selected will show up under “Role” for this person.

  • To remove someone, click on the person to select them, then click the “Remove Selected” button.  If successful, the person will be removed.

  • Please note that you must check the box under “WyoCourses Participation” in order for the person to be added to the WyoCourses shell.

  • Please note that the person you wish to add must have a FERPA form online with the Registrar's Office. Click the following link to access the FERPA form.

  • Please note that if the correct role does not appear (TAs/GAs) to contact the Office of the Registrar to have the individual coded correctly.

  • Please note that if you wish to add another faculty member with the "Teacher" role, you will need to contact your department or the Registrar's office to have them added in Banner as an instructor for the course.
