Research Needs and Management Strategies for Pallid Sturgeon Recovery
Workshop July 31-August 2, 2007
DoubleTree Westport Hotel
St. Louis, Missouri

The purpose of the workshop was to provide technical guidance for a research and management strategy to assist range-wide pallid sturgeon recovery by engaging experts to identify knowledge gaps, prioritize research needs, recommend an effective science process to get answers, and identify agencies whose authorities may be applicable to these efforts.  Invited experts and public observers from throughout the U.S. discussed technical issues. A report from the workshop will be available in 2008.
