The The Residential Network (ResNet) is a service that students can utilize while living in the Residence Halls, in the River Village section of the UW Apartments, the Honors House and some Greek Houses. It is a direct cable connection (also known as an Ethernet connection) to the campus computer network and the Internet. The ResNet Support Center has Residential Computer Consultants (RCC's) available during the regular academic year to assist students living in all of the locations listed above with most computer related problems. The ResNet Support Center, located in room 40 in the McIntyre Hall tunnel, is typically open during regular business hours (9am - 5pm). The office is closed during finals weeks, all scheduled University holidays, and summer months. |
