2-column templates also contain a breadcrumb navigation that is also generated by the site’s folder structure. This is controlled through the _props.pcf file that is automatically created when a subfolder and page is created in your site directory. As you may recall from the introduction of this training, this file should NEVER be deleted under any circumstance as it is difficult to recreate without major site structure modifications.
Site authors can choose to have this breadcrumb display within their page’s parameters and can also edit this file to change the words that appear within the generated breadcrumb. As another advanced editing feature, let’s go through this together in the video below.
