This exhibit will showcase a diverse range of media from the permanent collection alongside art from 6 facilities throughout the State Wyoming Department of Corrections, other formerly incarcerated Wyoming artists, and families of incarceration.

High Plains American Indian Research Insititute
HPAIRI is a valuable and important resource for American Indian tribes and scholars. It is accessible for use in both Indigenous-driven research and for research initiated by University of Wyoming students and scholars that involves Native American people, their lands and resources.

The historic Cooper House has served for many years as the home of the American Studies, providing an intriguing and elegant space for classrooms, faculty offices, and gatherings.
Paño Connections Prison Art Reception Dinner at the Wyoming Territorial Prison

Paño Connections is a nationally recognized traveling prison art collection showcasing the raw talent and ingenuity of confinement. This exhibit will showcase a diverse range of media from the permanent collection alongside art from 6 facilities throughout the State Wyoming Department of Corrections, other formerly incarcerated Wyoming artists, and families of incarceration.
Special programming will include:
- A tour of the State Museum that once housed Butch Cassidy and other Territorial Outlaws.
- A formal dinner reception with authentic prison recipes prepared by formerly incarcerated artists: Eric Christo Martinez, Tommy Rivera, and Robert Fleetwood.
- Panel discussion about the value of rehabilitation and ingenuity of Prison Art, food, and culture.
- Poetry Readings
Prison Art Symposium
