Bachelor Degrees

It is a challenging yet exciting time for educators at all levels. The need for highly qualified teachers in elementary classrooms is tremendous. We offer Bachelors Degrees in Elementary Education, Secondary Education, and Special Education that provides you with the eligibility to become a licensed teacher.

Elementary Education (K-6)

  • Elementary Education, B.A.

    • The elementary education major prepares you to teach grades K-6 with eligibility for wyoming Teaching licensure.

  • Elementary Education and Special Education, B.S.

    • A bachelor's in Elementary and Special Education provides you with the eligibility to become a licensed elementary school teacher and gain an additional endorsement to teach special education K-12.

 

Secondary Education (6-12)

  • Secondary Agriculture Education, B.S.

    • Teach middle school and/or high school with a concurrent major in Agiculture Business, Agriculture Communications or Animal and Veterinary Science.

  • Secondary Career Technical Education, B.A.S.

  • Secondary English Education, B.A.

    • Teach middle school and/or high school with a concurrent major in English.

  • Secondary Mathematics Education, B.S.

    • Earn a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics Education (grades 6-12) with a concurrent major in Mathematics.

  • Modern Languages, B.A.

    • Earn a Bachelor's Degree in Modern Language Education (grades 6-12) with a concurrent major in French, German or Spanish.

  • Secondary Science, B.S.

    • Earn a Bachelor's Degree in Science Education (grades 6-12) with a concurrent major in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Systems, Geology, or Physics.

  • Secondary Social Studies Education, B.A.

    • Earn a Bachelor's Degree in Social Studies Education (grades 6-12) with a concurrent major in History or Political Science.

 

K-12 Licensure

  • Art Education, B.A.

  • Music Education, B.A.

    • Prepare for teaching in elementary or secondary schools in instrumental, string, and vocal music.

  • Physical Education, B.S.

    • College of Health Science offers certification of Physical Education Teaching K-12.
