Center for Global Studies logo CGS Student International Research Funding Awards: Fall 2024

Fifteen UW students were awarded funding during the CGS International Research Funding fall 2024 cycle. Funding is provided by the Center for Global Studies through a number of funds, including the Centennial Fund, the CGS Excellence Fund, the Ellbogen Fund, and the Harris Fund.

In partnership with the Fulbright Association Wyoming Chapter, CGS hosted past, current, and future Fulbright Scholars to support networking and applications for the upcoming academic year.

Daing with Dr. Christy Wulandari International Student Recruitment 2023-2024

Every year, ISS Assistant Director Daing Nasir travels around the world to recruit international students for the University of Wyoming. This past year, Daing has visited schools, college fairs, forums, conferences, and other events across India, the United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Ecuador, Malaysia, Vietnam, and more, culminating in a successful (and busy) recruitment cycle.

Yuki Ayukawa is the JOI (Japan Outreach Initiative) Coordinator for the University of Wyoming. For the past two years, she has improved connections between Wyoming and Japan, sharing Japanese culture experiences and building business opportunities across the state.
