Jennifer Escajeda

Jennifer Escajeda, MPH is a public health educator and program leader focused on strengthening Wyoming’s public health workforce through innovative training and education. She played a key role in developing the first Community Health Worker program of its kind in Wyoming through the University of Wyoming’s Rural Health Institute, expanding access to workforce training in rural and underserved communities. She has also contributed to CHW program development at Central New Mexico Community College and the University of New Mexico.

Her work centers on building sustainable education pathways that prepare community health workers and other frontline professionals to address health disparities and improve health outcomes across the state. Jennifer is a Quality Matters Master Reviewer and a Certified Community Health Worker, with expertise in online learning design and competency-based training. She holds a Master of Public Health from American Public University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Education with a concentration in Community Health.
