Maternal & Child Health Special Interest Group

We’re building a cohesive community of researchers, educators, and students interested in maternal and child health across the University of Wyoming campus.

WHO IT'S FOR

Faculty, staff, and students from any college — researchers, educators, clinicians, and the simply curious. You don’t need to be a formal MCH researcher to join; if you care about the health of Wyoming families, this is your group.

WHAT YOU'LL GET

  • Meet others working in maternal and child health across campus
  • Share your skills and current projects in a growing network
  • Find collaborators for research and grant proposals
  • Access a shared repository of MCH-relevant skills, projects, and funding opportunities
  • Help raise the visibility of MCH issues in Wyoming through advocacy and dissemination

HOW IT WORKS

The group will meet several times per academic year, including a kickoff gathering, end-of-semester check-ins, and a new-year kickoff. Members help shape the group’s direction — including working on a shared skills/collaboration matrix, identifying collaborators for projects and proposals, and building an MCH funder database.

GET INVOLVED
