Student Course Reserves Information
Students can access course reserves via WyoCourses. This includes all course materials, even those not held by the Libraries.
- Login to WyoCourses and navigate to your course
- From the course menu, select Course Reserves (this option is only visible if used by your instructor)
- Course resources will be listed individually
- Online and digital resources are available directly from the list
- Library books and instructor copies are available for check out at the Help Desk of the indicated library (either Coe Library or Geology Library)

Instructor Course Reserves Information
Instructors may use the Libraries Course Reserves service to build a reading list in WyoCourses that is easily findable by their students. This can include library owned physical and electronic resources, instructor owned texts, Internet links, videos, and open access resources. All materials appear in then appear in the reading list in your course shell.
- Digital materials are accessed directly from the reading list.
- Physical copies are held for checkout at either Coe Library or Geology Library.

The University of Wyoming has earned its Research Level 1 (R1) status from the Carnegie
Classification of Institutions of Higher Education, placing Wyoming's only four-year
university among the top research universities in the United States.
The University of Wyoming Libraries has been a Federal Depository Library since 1907. The collection comprises approximately 1.5 million print and microfiche
items in Coe Library and Library Annex, as well as maps, aerial and infrared photographs,
and geological publications housed in the Brinkerhoff Geology Library. The Federal
Document Library Program is changing from physical to digital distribution of government
information; UW Libraries provides access to online publications available from the
Federal Depository Library Program through the library catalog.
