During his tenure as an undergraduate he joined the Gatlin lab where he became well-versed in quantitative light microscopy and image analysis. He is currently a graduate student in the Gatlin lab where his research interest is focused on understanding how the microtubule cytoskeleton influences organelle scaling during development.
