Industry Partners Program

Professional Land Management

The School of Energy Resources' (SER) Industry Partners Program invites collaboration with industry and business leaders to enhance the academic and experiential learning opportunities for students in the Professional Land Management (PLM) concentration of the Energy Resource Management and Development (ERMD) undergraduate degree program.

As land, legal, and regulatory challenges continue to shape the energy industry, there is a growing demand for professionals who bring both technical skill and practical understanding to the field. SER is committed to developing the next generation of land professionals—individuals who are well-prepared to navigate complex land and resource issues with integrity, innovation, and leadership.

Through your partnership, you help ensure the continued success and relevance of the PLM program. Industry support directly enables us to:

  • Recruit and retain high-potential students from across the country

  • Provide hands-on, field-based learning experiences in real-world settings

  • Connect students with professionals through mentorship, site visits, and networking opportunities

By investing in the PLM program, you are helping to cultivate a strong, capable pipeline of land professionals ready to meet the evolving needs of the energy sector.
