Research Experience

Dr. Tabler is a medical sociologist with interests in mental health, aging and the lifecourse, and health disparities. Her current research focuses on examining the influence of eating disorders on women's transition to adulthood, as well as the gender gap in depression in later-life. Her community-based, interdisciplinary work focuses on health disparities among under-served populations, and making Laramie a more "age-friendly" community. She is also currently working on an interdisciplinary project exploring the measurement of sex, gender, and sexuality in top utilized surveys funded by an A&S interdisciplinary seed grant.

Other Activities

Dr. Tabler is the faculty sponsor for the RSO Ultimate Frisbee, and a member of Age-Friendly Laramie (https://age-friendlylaramie.org/).
