Alexis grew up in Jackson, Wyoming and graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Honors. She is currently interested in numerous medical fields including orthopedics and wilderness medicine. Her interests in medicine stemmed from the intersections between science and humanities, and as a result she hopes to study and incorporate global/public health into her future practice. Regardless of the field she pursues, Alexis aspires to implement long-term healthcare opportunities in under-served populations.
