Rida Fatima was born in Pakistan and grew up in Rock Springs, Wyoming. She graduated from the University of Wyoming with a degree in Microbiology and Molecular Biology with a minor in the Honors Program. Even as a young child, Rida dreamt of becoming a physician and helping her community. Since then, she has strongly pursued this passion. Rida has a strong desire to work with medically under-served populations in the United States and abroad. She is currently considering internal medicine as a specialty, but is open and excited to try others. Beyond her career interests, Rida likes to travel, try new foods, and spend time with her family, friends, and her dog, Ellie.
