Biography
Michael teaches courses in professional writing and composition, as well as coordinates the professional writing minor at UW. His research interests include the workings of small professional writing programs and police-related rhetoric and documentation, especially use-of-force policy as a workplace genre engaged in coordinating complex rhetorical work in policing agencies and communities. In his spare time, he enjoys travel, music, basketball, the Wyoming outdoors, and time with family.
