Galen graduated with honors from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelors of Science in physiology and a minor in international studies. His passion for medicine blossomed from a profound love of the outdoors and serving others. He directed this passion through wilderness medicine while involved with the UW Outdoor Program. Following graduation, he partook in a variety of experiences from being a ski patrol volunteer, managing a restaurant, and moving to Oregon as an AmeriCorps volunteer. He is excited to explore the vast ranges of medical specialties. In his free time he enjoys cooking, rock climbing, mountain biking, skiing, and creating a sense of community with friends.
