The WWAMI program reserves twenty seats each year for qualified Wyoming residents.The current WWAMI class began course work in August, 2017 and will complete their first year of studies here at the University of Wyoming. Year two will be spent at the University of Washington's School of Medicine. Their third and fourth years of study are spent at selected clinical sites through the WWAMI region.

First year WWAMI students, spend time working with physicians in the Laramie and Cheyenne communities in order to gain hands on experience and improve clinical skills.
