Criminal Justice and Criminology (CJC) is a social science that critically examines
the causes, control, and prevention of criminal behavior. Our department offers an
interdisciplinary degree program that exposes students to diverse scholarship from
fields such as political science, sociology, psychology and anthropology.
The Department of Criminal Justice & Sociology is committed to providing its students
with a broad liberal arts education. This will help prepare CJC students for a variety
of professions, including:
