ASUW-Funded Event Marketing Rules
All promotional materials for events that are funded by ASUW must have the ASUW logo
and ADA compliance logo on them.

Marketing Help Requests
If you are a part of an ASUW Program or are hosting an ASUW-funded event, you may
request electronic design work, posters, pamphlets, logos, and more. If you need marketing
assistance on behalf of a Student Organization or other University of Wyoming entity,
contact the ASUW Director of Marketing to promote your event.
To apply for marketing support fill out the Marketing Request Form.
Please submit the Marketing Request Form at least two (2) weeks prior to your event!

Avenues for Marketing for SOs
- The Poster Run
- The poster run is done by the Student Organization's office and is free to student
organizations. Posters are due to the Student Organization's office Thursday afternoon,
and are hung up the following Monday morning. Posters stay up for two weeks or until
the event has concluded. To complete the poster run, you must email a copy of your
poster to the Student Organization's office (studentorgs@uwyo.edu) for approval. Once it is approved, you should order 30 copies of the posters, no
larger than 11"x17", and bring them to the Student Organization's office no later

- Posters in the Dorms
- Housing and Dining Services will approve posters to be put up in their facilities
and in the dorms on a case by case basis. To see if your event will be approved for
this, email living@uwyo.edu. If approved, they will email you back the number of posters you need to print and
where to bring them.
- Union A-Frames and Table Tents
- Student Organizations can request to market their events through the A-frames and
table tents that are throughout the Union. To reserve A-frame and table tent space,
you must go through Mazevo. To do this, you must create a Mazevo account. Instructions
for creating an account and submitting a request can be found here: https://www.uwyo.edu/union/reservations/mazevo.html. The Copy and Print Center can print the materials you need for A-frames and table
tents. If approved to market via A-frames, you will need to obtain two 2ftx3ft signs,
and if approved to market via table tents, you will need to obtain 140 4"x9" signs.
- Union TV Ads
- Your Student Organization may be able to market your event through a TV ad in the
Union. To request this, email cpappas2@uwyo.edu.
- ASUW Instagram
- If your Student Organization tags the ASUW Instagram @asuwstudentgov, ASUW will repost
your event!
- Tabling
- Student Organizations can table in the Union Breezeway and in Simpson's Plaza. To
do this, you must create a Mazevo account and submit a request through the Mazevo
platform. Instructions for creating an account and submitting a request can be found
