The Center for Global Studies (CGS) is a core unit of WyoGlobal and is the go-to resource on the University of Wyoming campus for global success. CGS supports students, faculty, communities, and businesses in generating internationally engaged research, teaching, and program opportunities. With an array of fellowships, grants, awards, partnerships, and events, CGS cultivates effective collaboration between Wyoming and the world.
From robust STEM programs to all facets of the humanities, UWyo is a diverse and community-oriented place to learn and grow. Discover the university's and state's innovation, exploration, and excellence.
CGS runs programs, projects, and events across Wyoming. Partnering with donors, alumni, faculty, and students, we provide opportunities to learn about global research through international leaders.
Through generous donor, scholarship, and grant support, CGS provides funding opportunities to faculty and students, as well as resources for other fellowship opportunities to support international research.
The Center for Global Studies sponsors speakers and events, several times a semester. We bring in alumni, UW and visiting faculty, institutional partners, and global and community leaders to share their insights and promote internationalization. The events form not only a key backbone of the work we promote on campus, they also support us in developing collaborations and driving forward student growth. We proudly support international work across the world, from conflict resolution to rural health.
