Aaron Freland serves as the Academic Advising Manager for the Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Wyoming. Freland’s role includes advising students and discussing academic plans, career goals, and concerns.
Prior to joining UW, Freland was employed as an Academic Advising/Student Success Specialist at the Iowa Valley Community College District. Freland also worked in the Office of Admissions at Iowa State University and focused on transfer students.
When not on the job, Freland can be found in the mountains hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing, and camping.
